Doo Wop Concert

For more than a decade, Doo Wop artists have been treating Bristol Borough residents and visitors to amazing group vocal harmony for this annual concert that draws thousands of visitors from neighboring communities and states. Bristol Borough’s roots in doo wop run deep and date back to the recording of the “Bristol Stomp” in 1961. The song was originally performed in Bristol by a Philadelphia group, the Dovells.

Holiday Tree Lighting

Held every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving at the corner of Mill and Radcliffe streets, the annual community tree lighting event- with Santa as the guest of honor- is reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting.
