Raising the Bar is set to commemorate a significant milestone in Bristol Borough’s history with the dedication of "Riverport Plaza @ Market." This event, hosted by community group Raising the Bar, will take place on September 13, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on the grounds of the new park at the corner of Market Street and Wood Street.

At the heart of this celebration is the unveiling of a 1,300-square-foot mural, an artistic achievement by artist Jared Bader, that eloquently portrays the rich maritime history on Market Street through its once-bustling port that once connected the street to ports across the East Coast. This captivating mural not only pays homage to Bristol Borough's rich heritage but also stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the community.

The completion of the park is thanks to the collaborative efforts of talented artists, historians, and community members who have dedicated their skills and passion to creating a visually captivating space for the town to enjoy. Riverport @ Market is Bristol Borough’s latest step in its era of resurgence.
